Julie Barker started Accesso-Ride two years ago when she noticed several friends who liked to social bike ride were not keen on wearing bike helmets. Julie discovered this was because they didn’t like the shape and styles of available helmets on the market. Due to safety regulations, instead of changing the helmets structure, Julie designed attractive covers for sporting helmets. That way, clients didn’t have to purchase new helmets, but could accessorise their existing helmets. Julie’s clever creations are now available at pop up shops and markets – and she has also recently launched a facebook page.
